If we are successful in gaining a licence for The Wall in Leicester, the resultant new FM service will be the community radio service for a large area of Leicestershire, serving domestic and business listeners alike, from breakfast time throughout the day to evening and continuing overnight, 24 hours per day, every day of the year, for many years to come. It will bring unique perspective to Leicestershire issues and events, and an arena for local participation hitherto neglected by traditional commercial operators.

Properly funded community based local radio run with vision and application has a relevance and realism for local people which produces an unrivalled enthusiasm and interest factor. We have demonstrated this with our local stations. This can be sustained and developed by people with the energy, talent and dedication to apply sound business techniques and community principles in a viable and ongoing form.
