We are the principal community radio organisation in Leicester and the South Leicestershire area. We continually seek to add the support of influential patrons and sponsors to the public support we have gained in our campaign for truly local radio since 1996.
We are associated with good projects in the community and will have vastly increased scope for these activities when awarded a full time licence. We have a strategy for comprehensive community action and representation and intend to be a focus for substantive action in the Leicester area with our new station The Wall.
Support for would be seen as support for the community, benefiting individual and business sponsors alike. We welcome Campaign assistance in many areas, finance, marketing, public relations and commercial services being principal requirements. Potential sponsors need not necessarily be involved in industries allied to that of commercial or local radio, but may be able to assist in training initiatives in the area. Corporate sponsors willing to lend their name and image to joint projects on The Wall in Leicester will find practical and financial rewards from a group which works hard to promote sponsor companies interests with imaginative promotions aimed at a local audience. We have already enjoyed support from over 250 local companies and have major national brand names like B&Q, Golden Wonder, The Co-Op, and Domino's Pizza
